Also, the one set of figurines I *do* collect have six more entries, but they're kind of expected / disappointing. A few of the older ones have gone down in price, though, so I might indulge in a few more soon.

They're the latest entries in the "Ultra Detail" series, and I dunno if there are going to be any other Nintendo figures beyond the initial set. They're only 730 yen apiece on AmiAmi. Shipping is probably brutal, but that's a really low base price. There's a sixth one, Skyward Sword Link, that doesn't have an image up yet.

I think this is the first time I've ever wanted a bikini figure for real but I seriously want this. If I knew what I was doing I'm sure I would get the garage kit version.

Look what I got! My first figurine purchase in years - Mikono Suzushiro from Aquarion EVOL.
The scale is smaller than I expected (listed at 1/8, but she seems smaller than that) but the details of the sculpt make up for it. The face and pose are true to the character, and the little details that made it in - stray strands of hair, wrinkles in the clothes, the wingtips on her boots - really make this piece seem like a labor of love.
Unexpectedly, her skirt can also be cast off...
(Tried to post directly from my iPad, which explains the weird angle of the pic here.)
