Original post by chromee I also started Kuroko's baske...Kuroko kawaiiiii~~~ (*´∀`) HELL YES. Teenagers with basketball superpowers? Yes, please. Wait until you see Kuroko's Final Ultimate Attack That He Can Only Use Once. Oh, I'm still playing Star Ocean: Second Evolution and Red Dead Redemption. Also want to set up a new manga project, but I'm not sure what yet. I'll probably hit up MT and check out one of the highest-rated series I haven't read yet. And if you know me, you probably know that I'm a huge fan of the classic DC Animated Universe. Over the past three years I've re-watched all of Batman: The Animated Series, New Batman Adventures, Batman Beyond, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited. I'm about 40 episodes into Superman: The Animated Series (which I started months ago) and when that wraps I'm probably going to hit Static Shock or Teen Titans.

Watching: Breaking Bad and Eureka, both on Netflix. Breaking Bad is stunningly good, Eureka is kinda niche but pretty good. Reading: I recently bought two additional Elmore Leonard novels: Pronto and Swag. I've read two other Leonard novels in the past couple of months and loved them. Pronto and a few of Leonard's other books starring its main character have been adapted into their own TV series, Justified, so I figured it was worth a read. Swag just has an awesome name so I had to. Playing: Persona 3:FES. Any other response would be incorrect. Main dude's currently level 48, and I'm near the end of October. Already tempted to dive right into P4 once I finish this.

Time to resurrect an old thread for the sake of board activity: Watching: Frasier, season 8 Doctor Who, series 5 Reading: The Princess Bride, by William Goldman The Victim's Revolution, by Bruce Bawer Playing: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion I highly recommend all of these, with the exception of maybe Bawer, which is important, but not what everybody wants to read. The Princess Bride is great, even if you've seen the movie. Most characters are more fleshed out, and you get a lot more backstory, which is true when comparing any film to its parent novel. I really like how Goldman frames the fantasy plot with a sentimental fiction of how it has been cherished in his family for generations. Word of warning: if you're a Skyrim veteran, Oblivion plays slowly by comparison. Faster than Morrowind, but still pretty darn slow. Frasier was funny for its entire run in the 90s and early 2000s. Each episode is very carefully written and executed. No plot threads are left dangling, and even little details matter. Great writing, great cast, American sitcoms don't get much better. Doctor Who is legendarily awesome. If you like sci-fi at all, check it out. You will not be disappoint.

Here we go... Watching: Brain Powered It's one of the worst anime I've seen in a while, but it can be enjoyed ironically. NFL Football Every week on Monday, Thursday, and all day Sunday. Go Packers! Reading: I Hope They Serve Beer at Applebee's (lol wordfilter'd), by Tucker Max Actually re-reading this. It's the awesomely bad chronicles of a bunch of sex-crazed alcoholic maniacs. Playing: Super Robot Wars J Second go-round, with a new main character and hero mech. There's nothing more compelling in my video game library right now.

Watching: Breaking BadYeah, still. Taking my time with it. Middle-ish of season 3. NFL FootballUsually in a group, usually with lots of American (re: fat) food. Go Ravens! Reading: Bunch of manga and comics, plus a few recently-acquired artbooks. Not reading any novels now, but hopefully will fix that soon. Playing: Torchlight II! ...as soon as my preloaded Steam version activates in a few hours. Fuckin' west coast.... Recently finished The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals.

Watching: Doctor Who Slowly, though, since other things take up time.
Reading: Dresden Files Enjoying it, even if I am reading them horribly out of order.
Playing: Assassin's Creed: Revelations It's good, but you need to have played the other games before it.
Borderlands 2 Because Claptrap is awesome and I can be a ninja turtle.

Watching: YouTube: SethBling, Vechs, kurtjmac, Archmage Melek, paulsoaresjr, GuitarHeroPhenomMostly Minecraft-related. See below for further explanations of who everyone is. TV: Formula 1 racing.Probably the only one in CAINE watching it right now. F1 is less of a parade these days, though, with KERS and DRS... Reading: Shinryaku! Ika MusumeThe manga continues far beyond the anime and is still completely hilarious. Also, I have a few random novels and other books in my backlog as well. Playing: Guild Wars 2Guitar HeroHalf-Life series (currently Half-Life: Opposing Force and Black Mesa) MagickaYouTube stuff: - SethBling makes games within Minecraft using redstone. Both adaptations of existing games (Duck Hunt, Peggle, Angry Birds, TF2), and original stuff (Pit Frenzy, Tower Control).
- Vechs is responsible for the Super Hostile map series, and making the Mojang team die over 200 times on his latest map, Waking Up. Some of the recent changes to Minecraft were due to conversations between Vechs and Dinnerbone (silverfish calling for help on every tick of poison damage, and monster spawners being able to have custom data associated with them, such as position, momentum, potion effects, etc.).
- Kurt is known for the Far Lands or Bust series, where he's walking to the Far Lands in Minecraft Beta 1.7.3 and doing it as a Child's Play Charity walkathon. FLoB has raised enough money to be listed as a Platinum Sponsor on Child's Play's website, alongside Microsoft and Google. He also plays racing games (almost done with DiRT Showdown, and contemplating starting up Papyrus' NASCAR 2003 Season), and is into astronomy and space (regular Stellarium videos, Kerbal Space Program, etc.).
- Melek plays Minecraft, Skyrim, and other games as well (and his videos don't get enough views).
Paul does Minecraft tutorials, maps, and occasional other games. His pace is incredibly slow, enough so that it irks me constantly.
- GuitarHeroPhenom started out playing Guitar Hero and getting the typical endless streams of "now play that on a real guitar" comments. Then he played that on a real guitar. Now he has an endless stream of "now play that in Guitar Hero" comments on his videos. Yay, internet.

I think in every single post of mine in this thread, I mention watching Breaking Bad. Well, I still am. For some reason I'm most comfortable taking that one really slow, like one episode every couple of weeks. It's not how I usually watch things at all, but it works. Couldn't tell you why. Currently playing occasional bouts of Torchlight II, but it's less fun than usual because I keep dropping out of multiplayer matches. Sucks. Current game sauce is Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana on the PS2. Decent RPG with some annoyances (backtracking, annoying characters, weak plot at best) but a number of strengths (item synthesis, magic synthesis, weapon synthesis). If it doesn't drag on for 40+ hours then I'll probably see this one through to the end. Recently finished a few volumes of American comics - vols 9 and 10 of Irredeemable and the full omnibus of All-Star Superman. Irredeemable ends with a crazy-fucking-epic battle, then a weird twinge of redemption when the name of the damn comic is Irredeemable. Not as strong as the first several volumes, which were mind-blowingly good, but a decent finish. AS Superman is the best Superman comic I've ever read. Excellent beginning to end. Grant Morrison knows his shit. I'm keeping up with my usual weekly mangaz, but I've also done some binging on Baby Steps, Samurai Deeper Kyo, and Mirai Nikki. First is a pretty good sports manga about tennis that I will totally add to my weekly menu. SDK is convoluted as all get out and basically feels like Rurouni Kenshin with more demons, swords, characters, and plot holes. Dunno if I like it yet. Mirai Nikki starts out interesting, then gets weird, then gets super-weird, then instills a fear of yandere in me that I don't think will ever leave. Not... awful, but not really what I wanted overall.
