Might check Symphogear out, but honestly I'm getting SkyGirls/StrikeWitches vibes already XP
Lesse... watching:
Natsume4
Zero no Tsukaima 4 - Saito you better kick ass in that tank! (I think it's actually a panzer)
Another
Brave10 - if YUKIMURA is badass enough in this; it's seinen rather than shounen so should be interesting :D
Kill Me Baby - because this has Fumoffu! potential :D
I need a real shoujo series dammit!
I hope the actual Minami Kuribayashi voices the MC of Gokujyo
and Toradora! BD is coming out this month ^O^
>>28131 Gradon: I can tell you I freaking loved Gundam SEED. Honestly, it's suppose to be the Gundam aimed towards non-Gundam fans and is probably one of the best (anti-)war drama series I've ever seen. If you want a good melodrama and a main character whose not ridiculously passive/indecisive at start of the series (rather rare in Gundam), I suggest trying it out. But prepare for a lot of angst--- I'd say Kira handles it rather well compared to most drama leads, but finding your best friend on the different side of a TOTAL WAR is never fun business. also, Kira-Athrun-Cagalli-Lacus' relationship (it's complicated xD) is Haruhi-tier \o/

HOLY FKING--- No it's not a Panzer IT'S A KING TIGER!
Matt do you know if there's any significance to that number '324' for TigerIIs? Given that there were quite a few famous aces that piloted Tigers.

>>28131 I mean it's my safe bet since I can name at least one person I know who will be watching each of the other shows for sure. Until now I haven't heard anyone express an opinion in Symphogear other than me. Actually...I know someone who I think might watch it with me if I can talk her into it.
>>28132 Probably going to watch SEED HD at some point but too many things currently. I can't stand it being the only anime on my dropped list.

Maybe Basketarmy and SEED HD.
As for Turret Number 324, nothing special seems to have come out from google. The only decorated tank ace to have driven a KT seemsto be Kurt Knispel, and his tank assignment in the 503rd isn't listed. The only noticable tank with 324 was listed as a Tiger I in the 101st SS Heavy Tank Battalion, serving in the same unit as Michael Wittmann, tank 205.
I personally found the manga of Area no Kishi a little boring. Although, I did think the initial premise for the main character and his motivation for playing soccer is so over-the-top and dramatic that it's kinda hilarious (I'm not sure whether that's a point in its favor or not). Lan-Anh read more of it than I did, so you could ask her for her opinion. I dunno, I'm also just generally skeptical about how they'd handle the pacing of the game itself. This is soccer we're talking about. I didn't watch Giant Killing, so I don't know how well it's been done before.

You could, you know, read MARS.

Speaking of which I translated the OP for Symphogear already if anyone is curious. (It starts playing around the 1:30 mark in the anime PV)

This show is so serious business I'm not even joking. Don't want to post any other screencaps from Symphogear because spoilers all over the place so have this cool special attack instead.
