Any progress on the quote tunnel fix? Just wondering since hopefully after it's resolved we can move over the changes. (Was talking to Peaches and Eureka and they didn't even know we had them)

I honestly don't know why it's happening.  I compared my code to the code lulzbb uses for processing regular posts and I'm calling all the correct functions.  They're the same ones that process posts and it works fine there.

I'm hesitant to make any changes to the code doing the actual processing since it seems to work everywhere else.

Maybe I'll see it at some point, but for now I really don't know why it's happening.  I think it's something to do with changing the bbcode uid on a reply, since that's where it happens.

I just realized. Mods don't have a sticky/unsticky button do we?

that was on my mind...

and it wouldn't be that hard to implement.

Certainly easier than figuring out why add_in_bbcode_uids fails to get nested tags when called from the PM system but works fine here.

Err, I fixed that for you a while ago.

I can do that too...  making the quote tunnel works perfectly if all the quote tags are typed by the sender.  Hitting reply, however, doesn't seem to work, and you get something similar to the image I posted.

Edit: now that I think about it, it might be somehow related to the reply template.  hmm.

Double edit: now if you'd fixed it in more than just one place.

Hey XT, as it stands, is there any way for people who use the forums to recover their passwords if they forget them? I've been getting a few e-mails asking about that lately.

I could reset them to something known, but short of hacking at the md5 hash with a rainbow table (which is stupid), no recovery.

Currently in the process of rolling out the PM system on www.

Edit: enjoy your PMs.

Next up: sticky/unsticky.  When this migraine finishes wearing off.
Then: looking into why the hell the usercp/profile/pm/logout stuff doesn't work when put into content_header.tpl when it works outside of it on the same page, then getting proper links on all pages.

You can now change the topic status (normal/sticky/announcement).

Also, changing the status and moving a thread now happen when you select an item out of the dropdown if you have Javascript enabled.  If you don't have Javascript enabled, then the submit buttons should appear.  Yay noscript tags.

Edit: I'll probably remove support for announcements entirely, which means changing the thread status won't require a dropdown anymore.  There isn't proper support for announcements in lulzbb anyway, and adding it in makes pagination more complex.

Announcements are like stickies except they show up at the top of every page in the board they were posted in, whereas stickies only show up at the top of the first page.  We only have one, which can live as a sticky.  So, yeah.

Found an interesting bug. Eureka sent me a pm but he was dumb and forgot to include a title so I can't actually click on anything and read it.

EDIT: I had to guess the pm id until I was finally able to read it. Even after I saw it the new pm message did not go away and the reply button was missing.

XT just set a default title, e.g. "( No Subject )", SQL can do that for you at least...
