Lol quite so, but not the one I was really hoping for (based on the figures shown in the artbook, anyhow). I'll wait a bit on that.

Not to mention, early summer spending is all going into the PS3, by all likelihood.

I won't be able to spend much this summer, but I'd like to add at least one more figurine to my collection. Nose-Art Ranka is still a top choice, but I might want this Chihaya even more...

Also, I just realized that if we get a PS3, we can buy Rock Band!

Even though that's cross-console anyways so you hardly REQUIRE PS3?

And I just ordered the game (get the console later). There's a rumor SEGA has stopped manufacturing it. So unless something extreme happens I'm definitely getting it.

Well, that's true, but:

- The PS2 version is stripped-down
- The Wii version is stripped-down
- Honya's Moonbox 360 can't read American discs, and there's no way I'm buying a Rock Band setup from PlayAsia

So a PS3 on its way looks like the best option, unless someone graciously provides us with a North American Xbox 360.

D3 was the game that made the 360 vs. PS3 decision for me.  I've played it at my friend Jon's house, and I want.  Really, when I eventually get that PS3 I'll just buy Disgaea 3 and Street Fighter IV and no one will see me for at least three weeks.  Six if I can get a good internet connection.
