I'm skeptical of how good these will actually be.  Why make a prequel to a deconstruction?  Not to mention I don't see Alan Moore's name on it.  I'm gonna wait before I get excited.

I have my fair share of skepticism. However, I am excited by the idea.

To be fair though, I don't really think this needs Alan Moore.  His work stands very well by itself, and honestly, it'd be nice to see further exploration of this world without him.

I think I'll wait for TPBs of this.  Len Wein and Brian Azzarello are fantastic choices for their miniseries, but I'm less enthused about a few of the other authors.  I am glad that this is a prequel and not a sequel, though.  Expanding upon Watchmen's ending would feel more like FFX-2-esque sacrilege.
