(only works when images don't have to be thumbnailed)

So any ani-gifs need to be smaller than 50x50?

Well, for every image uploaded there's three copies -

• 50x50
  
• 300x300
  
• Original

It'll only resize when it has to, and any resized copies will lose the animation. So if you keep it below 300x300 it'll be animated when inlined with the post. If it's below 50x50 it'll be animated when it's shown in the forum listings. The original version (clickable, soon to-be expandable) will always remain animated.

Ah, 300 x 300, then. :D
